Ramana Maharishi – There are no others

“How are we supposed to treat others? There are no others.” ~ Ramana Maharishi

This is coming up for me strongly as I consider all my relationships. It is this innate experience of “othering” and the divides that I feel, and the connection I feel when I can really feel these words.

“This is the first, wildest, and wisest thing I know, that the soul exists and that it is built entirely out of attentiveness,” writes Mary Oliver.

Clark Strand’s Waking up to the Dark

“There is no loneliness once we realize that the whole world and everything in it is mothers and fathers as deep as the dirt beneath our feet. The whole planet is nothing but mothers and fathers of every possible species who have passed before us into the dark. And, we ourselves are no one but those very mothers and fathers come back into the light.” ~ Clark Strand, Waking Up to the Dark
