The stroke is so captivating to the consciousness, but I want to pull my consciousness out and be free of the stroke.
If you stay in the stroke, you keep suffering but if you add in the soul, the witness. Then you can view the stroke from an external point-of-view. Then you can witness and realize that witnessing is not very painful.
Physical pain is a worthy adversary of my spiritual practice.
